All Evaluations include a Comprehensive Written Report with Recommendations and a Feedback Session to review the results of the evaluation.
When using private insurance, please be aware that you are financially responsible for all other fees, such as copays, deductibles, and co-insurances not covered by your insurance plan.
Insurances typically cover evaluations that are deemed medically necessary. For this reason, insurances do not cover testing for gifted placement or achievement reasons, such as when ruling out a learning disability or when seeking special accommodations for school/college or standardized examinations (i.e.: SAT, GMAT, MCAT, LSAT).
Importantly, individual needs and insurance coverages widely differ. Please contact our Patient Care Coordinator for more specific details regarding your financial responsibilities.
When using private insurance for a psychoeducational evaluation, please be aware there will be a fee of $1000 for the achievement/educational assessment. As explained above, this part is not covered by insurance as it is considered an elective procedure, not medically necessary. A deposit of $500 is required on the day of the evaluation and the balance must be paid at the feedback session when the results and recommendations are reviewed.
